The Alliant Energy Center is located on the southern edge of Madison, just off Hwy. 12 & 18 (Beltline), on John Nolen Dr. between Olin Ave. and Rimrock Rd. From the Beltline, the big white dome roof of the Coliseum building is easy to recognize.



From the north on I-90/94:
Where I-90 and I-94 split, stay on I-90 to Chicago and Janesville – not I-94 to Milwaukee. After four miles, take exit #142A onto Hwy. 12/18 (Beltline) west to Madison. After five miles, the white dome roof of the Coliseum building is visible on the right. Take the John Nolen Dr. exit.

From the south on I-90:
Exit #142A onto Hwy. 12/18; proceed as above.

From the east on I-94:

SIT & SEW AND HANDS-ON WORKSHOPS

Join us in one or more of our interactive, three-hour machine workshops. Here’s a great opportunity to spend a few hours learning, practicing and mastering a new technique while creating an exclusive Quilt Expo project. Sewing machines provided by sponsoring sewing machine companies. Most Workshops are $35 plus kit/pattern fee.

Register for one or more of our hands-on workshops including hand quilting, surface design, beading, and quilt design. No sewing machines needed. Each hands-on workshop is $30 plus kit/pattern fee.

Young or old, everyone needs a place in life where they can use their creative voice. Amy shares her journey from frazzled mom to fulfilled quilter/designer/author/mom! There are many days where Amy is still frazzled, but she always has her own creative voice that she can share with her family. As Amy shares her stories, she shows quilts she’s created and tells how a new quilter can jump in and find their creative fulfillment even when life seems too busy.
